Privacy

The short version

The site counts how many times each page is viewed so it is possible to tell which guides are useful. That counting is anonymous and aggregated. Nothing identifies you, nothing follows you to other sites, and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.

What is measured

EchoNotes uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is privacy-first and cookieless: it sets no cookies, writes no identifiers to your browser, and cannot build a profile of you across visits or across websites.

For each page view it records, in aggregate:

• the page address on this site
• the referring site, if you arrived from a link
• country, derived at the network level
• browser, operating system, and whether the device is mobile or desktop
• page load timings, used to find slow pages

These are stored as counts, not as a record of an individual visit, so there is no visitor history to look up, export, or hand over.

What is not collected

• No cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking.
• No account, email address, or contact details. There is nothing to sign up for.
• No advertising networks and no third-party trackers.
• No selling or sharing of data with anyone.
• No fingerprinting and no cross-site profiling.

What is stored on your device

One item: your light or dark theme choice, saved in your browser under echonotes-theme. It stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and exists only so the site does not flash the wrong theme on the next page. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the requests needed to deliver pages and to block attacks and abuse. That processing is operational and separate from the analytics described above.

Search listings

EchoNotes is registered with Google Search Console, which reports how the site appears in Google results: which search terms show it, how often, and how often people click. Google supplies this already aggregated. It says nothing about any individual visitor.

Links to other sites

Some pages link out, for example to the EchoNotes TikTok account. Those links are plain links, not embedded players, so nothing loads from another site until you choose to follow one. Once you do, that site's own privacy policy applies.
